Something Big is Coming to Kings Island
If you are a Kings Island fan, you probably already know about the 300-foot-tall swing ride, Windseeker which was announced last August. But apparently King’s Island has another trick up their sleeve for the 2011 season. They’ve been hinting at it for a few weeks now and have promised a big announcement will be made tomorrow at 2:00.
So what is it? I don’t know. But King’s Island promises it will be big. They have used the phrase “largest of its kind in the world” repeatedly. Also, it will clearly involve dinosaurs. Beyond that, it’s anyone’s guess.

Speculation ranges from a walk-through exihibit of animatronic dinos similar to the touring exhibit that King’s Island has hosted in the past. Just on a much bigger scale. However, King’s Island seems to be hinting at something larger and potentially more thrilling. In fact, they have used the word “thrills” in some of their teases. Could this be some kind of dinosaur themed ride?

Update: Well, that didn’t take long! Dayton Daily News is reporting that the attraction is in fact the world’s biggest animated dinosaur walk. King’s Island will make the official announcement tomorrow at 2:00. The 2011 season starts April 30. I’ll see you there!
