I’m working on a few longer articles at the moment which has resulted in a bit of a lull here at Le Blog. To pass the time, I figured I would copy and paste a trip report from our last Walt Disney World trip last spring. This was originally posted in a Disney World forum, so it was written with that audience in mind.
As I transfer the report to the blog, I’ll add new comments in blue.
The title of this trip report comes from the Unofficial Guide to Wald Disney World’s chapter regarding traveling to Disney World with kids. We’ve been to WDW with kids before, but on this trip we had a 4-year-old and an infant. Over the course of a week, we all experienced plenty of ecstacy and agony.
When I write a review, I try to be upfront about any biases I might have. I’m a super hero fan which means I tend to be pretty forgiving of super hero movies that get the details right. What’s more, Captain America is hands-down my favorite Marvel character. Sure, I like Spider-man and his every man appeal. And I enjoy Wolverine for his bad-ass-with-a-heart-of-gold shtick. But nothing in the Marvel Universe appeals to me more than the guy wrapped in stars and stripes who always does what’s right.
