An Extraordinarily Uninformed Review of the Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness

As you know if you’ve been watching the Daffy Does Disney videos I’ve been posting for the past couple of weeks, I visited Walt Disney World with friends for a long weekend recently. What some of you might not have realized, because I included very little footage that would have tipped you off, is that my friends and I stayed in one of the cabins in Disney’s Fort Wilderness resort. Because I was there for just three nights and spent most of my time either in the parks or asleep there is plenty about the resort that I didn’t get to experience firsthand (hence the title of this article), but I will try to share with you what I did find and some other stuff that is important to know about the resort.

Daffy Does Disney – September 30th, 2016 travel

Greetings fair LeBlog readers! Welcome to a new bit of fiddling around I’m giving a try. That is, vlogging! Yes, that starts with a “V.” I shot a bunch of video over my four day weekend trip to Walt Disney World recently and now I’ll be cobbling together what I ended up with and presenting it in videos of varying lengths here. There might be some text at times too if a topic is of particular interest.

This first installment is all about travel and waiting…and some silly use of stock music. There’s not a lot of meat on the bone here, so if you have any questions about what you see, feel free to ask and I’ll do my best to answer. Hopefully people will think these videos are fun and I’ll have another way of sharing my travels.

Walt Disney World: First Time, Last Time, First Time in a Long Time (2016)

Okay, so I’m about three weeks away from my next trip to Walt Disney World and I’m starting to get a little antsy to get the trip underway. If you’ve been reading along at home for a couple of years you know that I had the pleasure last summer of a three day trip across country to see Disneyland for the first time in 40 years. Obviously, that was a really great thing, but it also means that it will have been more than two calendar years since I spent any time in any of the Florida Disney parks by the time I leave for Orlando at the end of the month. I know, first world problems, right?

A trip of any kind will typically feature some stuff that you’re really looking forward to. Sometimes that’s because it’s something you’ve never tried before and you’re excited to give it a whirl and sometimes it’s an old standby that you just can’t get enough of. By way of working off some of my own impatience for the next few weeks to pass, I’ll be going over some of these things that I’ll be experiencing this time around. Join me after the break if you like!
